Ingrid was such a fantastic aunt. I'll always cherish the wonderful times the family had when the two of you would come to St Catharines to visit. I'll never forget how hospitable Ingird was when cousin Susie and I visited the two of you in Colorado Springs when young teenagers. I have so many good memories to do with aunt Ingid. She'll always be close to my heart until we get together again in heaven someday.

Grandma will be so missed. I'm so grateful for the way she came in to our lives and for how she so selflessly welcomed us as family. The memories of every holiday, birthday and milestone in our childhood are made brighter by the impact of her love and generosity. Her laughter and enthusiasm for life will always be remembered.

Aunt Ingrid is truly someone unforgettable. She has impacted all of our lives for the better and pushed us all to be the best we can but not only that, she pushed herself to be the best. I have never seen someone like her who is able to brighten up the whole room with one smile or laugh. She was always here for this family and was always supportive and I think its time for us to be here for her and remember how amazing she truly was and how no matter what happened or how bad it may have been- she always loved us. I love you Aunt Ingrid and will never forget how truly extraordinary you are.

Ingrid will never be "gone". Over my lifetime she has given me the joy of laughter, unconditional love, countless hours on the phone, words of advise, countless delicious meals, a place to rest, a love for animals and a love for flowers. The list is endless. She was a true inspiration to me. These are things that I will all carry forever. She has touched many lives and there is no doubt that she watches over me and is making God laugh. Ich Liebe dich Ingrid!

Jim: So sorry to hear that Ingird has passed on. I often think about what a marvelous cook she was; especially when I make salad, thinking about how delicious her homemade salad dressing was. I loved her twinkly blue eyes! Also her German accent! God bless and keep you Jim.
