Winston Lee Davis, Sr., 85 of Colorado Springs, CO passed away Tuesday May 20th, 2014. Mr. Davis was born Feb. 9th, 1929 in Washington DC to William Carlton Davis, Sr. and Viola Estelle (Windsor) Davis.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953 during the Korean War. He was stationed in Michigan at Empire AFS, and worked on the DEW Line. He returned to re-join the National Geographic, and later joined C&P Telephone (Bell Atlantic) and retired in the early 1990's.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lois Ann (Herbert) Davis, 2 sons, Winston 'Lee' Davis, Jr. (Veronica) of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael Herbert Davis of Mt. Airy, MD., and granddaughter Morgan Elise Davis also of Colorado Springs.

He was preceded in death by his brother William Carlton Davis, Jr. The family suggests memorials be sent to Pikes Peak Hospice.
