Arvada Jane Golden, long time resident of Security, Colorado passed from this life on 11-25-12 in Hanford, CA. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles Ferdinand Golden. She is survived by her two daughters Elizabeth and Jon Gran and Cathy and Wayne Levy. She is also survived by her six grandchildren George and Katrina James, Wayne and Hyunjung Chae Levy, Charles and Kenda James, Justin Levy, Kristine and Kurtis Fox, and Allison Gran. Jane's great grandchildren include Daisy and George James, Lyndsay Chae Lee Levy, and Riley James. Jane worked for 43 years as a medical technologist. In her early years, Jane lived a farming life in Indiana. As a young woman she moved to Dunellen, New Jersey. There she married her husband Charles Golden and started a family. In 1964 they moved to Lehigh Acres, Florida. In 1973 she moved to Security, Colorado. Jane was living in Lemoore, California at the conclusion of her life. Jane was also a writer, a farmer, and an amazing seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing the organ, writing literature, practicing the catholic faith, and spending time with her family and friends. Jane enjoyed the outdoors and living each day to the fullest. She leaves behind an extraordinary example of all that is to be expected of an honest, wholesome, hardworking person. We love you Grandma. We will miss you greatly. Visitation for Mrs. Golden will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5th and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6th at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85/87, Security, CO with Burial following at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.
