The Gray family were good people. They lived on the street corner at 539 s. Parke st. Aberdeen, Maryland. Mr. Gray was a supervisor at the vehicle motor pool on the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Mrs. Gray was wife, mother and homemaker. Mrs. Gray was den- mother to all of the neighborhood kids. Hanging out at Gray´s on Saturday or after school was the thing to do for the kids growing up in the 60´s. Playing in the basement or the back yard and later in the "little room " was also the thing to do. Mrs. Gray watched over us and would offer us snacks. I cannot enough good things about Mr. & Mrs. Gray. They were good parents and they doted on their son who turned out to be an engineer and good person. I could fill fifty pages of fond memories of the good times and adventures with the Gray family. Mrs. Gray was a credit to humanity. God bless her.
