Sharon Ragains Obituary

Sharon G. (Davis) Ragains passed away at her home near Rush, Colorado on December 30, 2012 after a long bout with cancer. Sharon (Sheree) was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 20, 1953. She is survived by her husband Walter, daughter Lesley Lopez (Andy) and Myranda Collins (Alan), son Brandon Ragains (Sandra), grandchildren Kyla and Gabriel Lopez Austin, Tryston and Savannah Ragains, brothers Ron and Jerry Davis and Parents Leslie and Betty Davis also Nieces, nephews and cousins. Above all, Sheree was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved children. She was a member of the Kendrick Bible Church and a leader in the Awanas Bible Study group. She had been employed at Miami Yoder School at Rush where she worked as cook, substitute Kindergarten teacher and drove a bus carrying children with special needs. She also worked at Edison School as a cook. Sheree lived most of her life on the plains and loved the people. But her heart was in the mountains and she wished her final resting place to be there. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 4, 10:00am at Calvary Chapel Church East Side, 5070 Edison Ave, Colorado Springs.
