Jacoba C. Allen, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on February 9, 2013. She was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed. Jacoba was born on October 27, 1988 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Franklin and Mary (Traggiai) Allen. She was very adventurous and enjoyed education and learning. But mostly she loved her family, especially her children. She is survived by her parents: Franklin and Mary Allen; her daughters: Persephoni Allen-Cordova, and Rosie Roybal; her sisters: Stephenie Allen and Maya Allen; fiancé, Dustin Roybal; her grandparents: Ronald and Patricia Traggiai, and Victoria Allen; her fiancé's parents: Richard and Grace Roybal; a great-grandmother, Margaret Traggiai; as well as numerous extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Allen. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jacoba's name may be made to Ent Federal Credit Union.
