Andrew Phillip Bowlds, of Colorado Springs, went home to be with Jesus, on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Memorial services will be at the World Prayer Center Chapel at New Life Church, 11005 Voyager Parkway on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Justin Spicer will officiate. Andy was born to Dan and Penny Bowlds on September 21, 1981, in Colorado Springs. He attended Manitou Springs High School, graduating in 2001. Andy worked as a plumber and construction manager. He loved the west side of Colorado Springs, and enjoyed 4 wheel driving, fishing, dirt biking and snowboarding in the mountains. Andy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lloyd Bowlds, and Harry Grosvenor, and his great aunt Marjorie Dryer. He is survived by his father and mother, his brothers David Heier and Josh Bowlds, his sister Rachel Correia, his grandmother Edna Bowlds of Florida, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Financial gifts, in lieu of flowers, are appreciated, and will be given to The Men's Ministry of Teen Challenge of the Rocky Mountains, and Most Excellent Way, a ministry of Calvary Worship Center of Colorado Springs. My very deepest sympathies and prayers to your family for Andy's passing. My daughter Schuyler and Andy dated their senior year at Manitou. The picture above was taken on prom night. It reminds me of their zest for life and their promising futures...I really liked Andy! He was a fine young man...always had time to chat with a mom!! It is just much too soon ~

May God hold Andy and his family in His loving arms. May He keep their minds and hearts at peace through this most difficult time. Andy was the dearest of nephews, always kind and helpful when asked, always quick with a smile. We will miss him and his handsome face. But we are at peace in the knowledge that some day we will see him again. God Bless You All. Aunt Margie Lou, Uncle Craig and family.
