Gerald (Jerry) R. Roggenbauer, CMSGT USAF (Ret). reported to his Commander In Chief on November 12, 2012. Born Dec. 13, 1930 in Marshfield, WI to Lorraine and Raymond Roggenbauer (both deceased). Survived by his wonderful wife Charlotte (Deannie), Twigg, of 63 years; daughters Sheri Coleridge (husband Doug), Parker, CO; Kathy Johanns (husband Mike), Spring TX; Patricia Dempsey (husband Jeffry), Melbourne, FL; and Linda LeVan (husband Richard) Colorado Springs, CO. Preceded in death by his son Michael. Grandchildren Brandon Coleridge (wife Candice), Ashlee Parmley (husband Jon), Clarissa Johanns and Haley Gummere (husband Kyle); Jason Dempsey (wife Ashley), Jennifer Mitz (husband Alex), and Amber Campos (husband Adam), and Tyler and Travis LeVan. His 6 great grandchildren; Rylan, Brady, Peyton, Ethan, Landyn, and Hunter. His one sister, Terry Katzenberger of Marshfield, WI is deceased. Jerry dedicated 29 years to the Air Force and served in both the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts. He also served in Japan, France and Germany, and numerous assignments in the States. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, four Air Force and two Army Commendation Medals. He was a fifty year member of Harbor City Masonic Lodge No. 318, a life member of VFW Post 101, Colorado Springs, and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. Jerry was a dedicated catch and release fisherman and loved all forms of wildlife. Memorial services 1:00PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at The Springs Funeral Services. 3115 E.
