Frances Palmblad passed peacefully in her sleep at home on July 12, 2013. She was a dutiful wife and devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederic Palmblad, daughter, Linda Jeanne Killey, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Frances is survived by her sons Eric and Dana; her daughters Anne Thompson and Vicki Wobig; 12 grandchildren, David, Todd, Brian, Carl, Karen, Mason, Kellie, Alyssa, Julia, Carmen, Evan and Nicholas, and 4 great-grandchildren, Maya, Jaycee, Max and Noah. Frances was the ultimate family person. She enjoyed keeping her large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins connected. She kept many friends from all over the world whom she met during her military life and after her husband's retirement as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Services will be held at 1pm on July 27th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave in Colorado Springs.
