Ina Guyer, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, went home to be with the Lord on December 22nd after a long illness. Ina served as public relations representative of Mountain Bell and was well-known for her community involvement. She was active in many organizations including the Sons of Norway, the Colorado Springs Symphony Guild, the Opera Guild, Performing Arts for Youth, Christian Women's Club, the Republican party, the Humane Society, the Salvation Army, and the Mountain Bell Pioneers. Prior to becoming home-bound, she was an active member of Calvary Bible Church. Ina is survived by her sister, Anita Bellet, and three nieces - Shelly Greenhaugh, Ann Madsen and Lynn Birk. A memorial service will be held at the Blunt Mortuary, 2229 West Colorado Avenue on Thursday, December 27th at 11:30 A.M. officiated by Jerry Brown. Memorial donations may be made to the Colorado Springs Humane Society, the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission or to any of the organizations Ina supported.

Ina was loved by all at the "phone" company. She is one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew and was genuinely so, not phoney about it at all!! It gives me comfort knowing this Angel is watching over me from above.
