Marilyn Dobrzelecki Obituary

Marilyn was born Marilyn Leila Prior on November 3, 1934 in Sleepy Hollow (Tarrytown), New York. After a youth full of acrobatic dance she met and fell in love with her husband, Eugene Dobrzelecki. They were married on January 11, 1960. As the mother of four children she followed him where his Army life took them. Her belief that "wither thou goest, I will follow" exemplified her faithfulness and loyalty. During her hectic life as a military spouse she raised their four girls into successful, loving ladies with the same fierce faithfulness and loyalty to their families. One who believed her place was in the home with the children; she sacrificed her own career dreams for that of a successful marriage. Marilyn is survived by her husband and four daughters, Kathryn of River Vale New Jersey, Lisa Kennedy of Colorado Springs, Stacey Duessault of Ramona California, Wendy Miller of Dallas Texas, eight grand children and two great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church Friday, March 8th at 11:00a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Al Kaly Transportation Fund, PO Box 193, Pueblo Colorado, 81002 in memory of Marilyn.
