Kenneth Bamesberger Obituary

Kenneth F. Bamesberger passed on November 26, 2013 at home in the company of his family.

Ken was born March 29, 1922 in Red Willow County, Nebraska. Ken lived to see many changes in his life and truly lived the American Dream. He rose from the choking red dust of the depression Midwest to the crisp white snow of the Rocky Mountains.

Ken married June Wegener on January 11, 1953 and moved to Colorado Springs in 1960. Ken worked in district court as a reporter and as a ski instructor at the Broadmoor until 1977.

Ken enjoyed skiing, gardening and hiking in North Cheyenne Canyon. Ken was active at Immanuel Lutheran Church and sang in the choir for all of the years he was able to attend.

He is survived by his wife June, sons Craig, Kent, Brett and daughter, Lisa Wright. He and June have 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services are at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 846 E Pikes Peak Ave. Services are scheduled for 5 Dec 2013. Viewing will be at 1000, Memorial service at 1100 followed by a luncheon at the church. Graveside interment will be at 1330 at Evergreen Cemetery.
