Lloyd passed away on December 1, 2012, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born January 6, 1938, Shreveport, Louisiana to Lloyd and Angie Blackburn. Lloyd joined the Air Force after graduating from Centenary College and served for six and half years. After leaving the military he went to work in computer industry as a systems analyst. Lloyd married Gwendolynne E. Hensley on August 10, 1968 in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 44 years and a son Bryan L. Blackburn. One of his greatest enjoyments was "Hot Air Ballooning," making over 95 flights. Lloyd will be buried in Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana.

My sympathy to Lloyd's family. I worked with him at Schreiver AFB and always thought he was kind, easy going, and a joy to work with. My prayers go out for Lloyd and his family during this time.
