George Davis Obituary

George Davis Jr., 56, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 11, 2013. He was born February 12, 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama to the union of George and Josie Davis. His mother preceded him in death, also a sister Mattie Pearl Davis, and son Kedrick Davis. He was united in holy matrimony to Shirley Ann (Green) Davis, February 21, 1984 in Montgomery, Alabama. He enjoyed going fishing, listening to blues music and most of all spending time with his grandkids. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; Shirley Davis, children; Letora Williams, Tina King, Markita Norman, George Davis, Jarbis Davis, Shaquilah Davis. father; George Davis Sr., six grandchildren, sisters; Minnie, Carolyn, Cynthia, Shona Davis, and Eula Scott. Five brothers; Albert, Leroy, Cedric, Ryne Davis and a host of other relatives and loved ones. Visitation will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. following with Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
