Meike Moore, our beloved angel, received her wings on July 6, 2014, in Colorado Springs, CO. At the age of 73, she lost her long battle to cancer. She was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, where she met and later married the late LTC Willie L. Moore.
Her elegance, beauty and kindness mesmerized the people and wildlife that she knew and did not know, like only an angel could do. She made a lasting impression and touched the hearts of all that she came in contact with. Meike loved animals, people, gardening, antiques, being with family and every aspect of life. Our beloved mother loved life and life loved her.
You are smiling down upon us with no more pain and no more suffering. Fly free with the birds that you loved so much. Rest in peace Mutti, you will always be loved, you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. This amazing woman, mother, grandmother and friend will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at Funeral and Cremation Care of Colorado, 930 S. Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
