Not sure what to say?

Multi talented, gracious and generous. I will really miss her.

What is there about time that can make a person feel like such fool? For years I have wanted to write a letter to Ms. Cook to tell her that I thought she was a truly great singer. She captured my admiration when I heard her sing my favorite song of hers "My White Knight" on Broadway. No one can sing that song like Barbara. It spoiled the movie for me because she wasn't in it. I send my sympathy to her family, friends, and fans. We have all lost a great person and great talent. L....

My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort and strength from the God of all comfort in this difficult time (Isiah 26:19)

I have been a fan of Barbara Cook for over 40 years and was very fortunate to have seen her perform 5 times over the years. I also got to talk to her and she was kind enough to autograph some pictures for me. I can relive those memories with all the recordings of her glorious voice.

My deepest sympathy to Adam and to all her friends and family. I love you Barbara!

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss of a talented woman with a melodic voice. May you find comfort and help in God during this time of sorrow.

I discovered Barbara Cook as young man in my 30's, and have been a fan for over 30 years having seen her on stage in Washington DC and NYC. Her classic soprano voice, and music made my life better just listening to her albums. May God bless her for the special talents she shared with her audiences. Thank you for making our world a better place, Miss Cook.

At Romans 15:13, we read: May the God who gives hope fill you with all joy and peace by your believing, that you may abound in hope with power of holy spirit. Yes, hope can be likened, not to a candle in the darkness, but to the brilliant rays of the morning sun, filling one's life with peace, happiness, purpose, and courage. My sincere condolences.

Irene and I send our condolences to Ms. Cook's son and friends. We enjoyed her singing for many years.
