In loving memory of a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Betty was truly a special person. She had a special gift working with children and spent much of her time working or volunteering with King Elementary. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Smith; her parents, C.J. and Juanita West; and her nephew, Scott Reed. She leaves behind her husband, Walter Cline; daughters: Sheri O'Connell, and Andrea Gibbs; grandsons: Jeremy and Michael O'Connell; granddaughter, Tara Gibbs; sister, Shirley Sue Reed; brothers: Thomas and Jerry West; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Betty's name to either Susan G. Komen, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel.
