Christine A. Schmoeckel, 66 of Fountain, Colorado, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 at Penrose Hospital, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Christine was born July 6, 1951 in Merrill, Wisconsin, the daughter of Roger and Lois Dupke. Christine met and married John R. Schmoeckel. They traveled the world with the U.S. Army. They were married for 47 years and had three children: Mathew J. Schmoeckel, Jennifer Schmoeckel (Richard) Dakin, and Michael P. Schmoeckel, all of whom survive her.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley L. Dakin and Christopher A Dakin; her mother, Lois A. Dupke; her husband, John Schmoeckel; her sister, Diana (Kevin) Singleton, and her brothers, James (Janet) Dupke, Timothy (Jane) Dupke, and Thomas Dupke. Her father, Roger C. Dupke preceded her in death.
A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday April 15, at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Highway 85/87, Fountain.
