I was saddened to hear of Doug’s passing as I was trying to see about a friend. I met Doug a few times but I was friends with other family members. May God give you strength to endure and peace. May you be comforted in this time of grieving as Covid prohibits large gatherings. This is so much to wrap my mind around since you just buried Mr Bradshaw. My condolences to you all. He has found rest.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Doug's passing. We met at Irving Jr. High and then went to Mitchell together. I'll always remember his laugh, and the way he always made me laugh as well. Was always glad he was on my team since he was such a great athlete in any sport he chose to play. Anybody who knew Doug loved him - he was that kind of person. The world is a lesser place without him.
My condolences to his extended family. May he rest in eternal peace.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I didn't get the chance to meet Douglas in person, however I did speak with Douglas often on the phone, as I work for Silver Key. Every interaction I had with Douglas, he was always happy, friendly, and funny, sounded like he had a smile every time he called. I am sorry for the loss.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Doug's passing. We were pretty tight at Irving Junior High and even after high school we still stayed in touch up until I got married and moved to Wisconsin. He was very special to me and he always made me laugh. We lost touch over the many years but hooked up again on Facebook. My condolences to his mom's and Pop's and other family members. I will always remember his big grin and his beautiful eyes which I always teased him about. May you rest in peace Doug E Fresh

Doug was a good friend when I was at Mitchell. His kind heart and gentle nature made him such a joy to be around. The world is a better place having him here, and heaven is now better for the very same reason.
