Doyle was born in Oak Park, IL to Harold and Gertrude Christianer. He was the first of four children. He is preceded in death by both parents; sister, Sally Schroyer; and brother, Daryl Christianer. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay; son, Dale; and brother, Dan; as well as many relatives, extended family and friends. He received his Engineering degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology and the New York Institute of Technology. He was a communications and computer maintenance officer in the Air Force. He spent many years overseas and enjoyed his military career. After retiring he became logistics manager at Ford Aerospace. In 1960 he married Rhonda Lundeen, deceased, and they were blessed with a son, Dale. He resides in NC. In 1976 he married Kay Nissen. They enjoyed traveling, Hawaii being a favorite destination, the fine arts, family and friends. They "adopted' many grandparents, extended family members and goddaughter, Roz Bryant. After retiring, they volunteered and resided in AZ during the winter. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 28, 2013. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. at the Falcon Stadium Press Box at the Air Force Academy with the service soon to follow. Please enter at the North Gate Entrance.
