Geraldine A Beggs, 93, a 43 year Colorado Springs resident, passed away on January 19, 2013 in Colorado Springs. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 28, 1919 to the late Charles and Katherine (Burroughs) Cramer. Gerry is survived by her 2 daughters, Kathy (Ed) Lococo of Colorado Springs and Gerri (Ron) Anderson of Maricopa, Arizona; 8 grandchildren, Mike, David, Billy, Erik, Kathy, Lindsey, Jenny and John; 11 great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Polly Dunn. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Beggs on August 3, 2003 and a son, Bill Beggs on June 16, 2000. Gerry was a loving wife, mom, and gammie who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She loved playing bingo and enjoyed playing the slots in Cripple Creek. Gerry was a former resident of Lamar, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona. She also was a life-long member of First Untied Methodist Church. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, January, 24, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
