Ken was my IP in T38s at Moody in 71 and 72. He was tough but effective. I have included him in a flying sortie that occurred during my time in T38s. God bless him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and those inspired by his enlightened "top-cover" for the wives, children, and other family members of the fallen or missing. He will always remain an inspiration to me as I try to follow my conscience as truly as he did his.

As we said when my parents passed, "Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it burned." I hope these words bring comfort to you as they did to me. We send our prayers.

May God bless you and give you peace as you mourn the loss of a great Air Force pilot. I didn't know Ken but flew the same mission he did from Pleiku and can attest to the fact that Ken did yeoman service for his country flying the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
