Born in Ravenna, NE to Harvey H. and Eleanore A. (Prochaska) Shrader. Preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Bruce Alan Anderson. Wedded to Gary G. Anderson on 06/15/1958 in Kearney, NE, who survives. Survived by loving children Michelle J. (Damon) O'Donnell of Gulf Breeze, FL and Michael G. (Sherree) Anderson of Denver; also Paula Miller and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Raechel Anderson of Colorado Springs and Sarah (Matt) Arnold of Denver; brother Harvey A. (Betty) Shrader of Ravenna, NE. A large part of Laura's life was her love and trust in her Gracious Lord and her church. She was a long time member of Redeemer's Prayer Circle, serving as co-chairman for a number of years. She operated a licensed child day care home for a number of years until medical problems would not allow her to continue. She gave loving care to many children, often who had medical and/or emotional problems. She was instrumental in starting a local branch of the Arthritis Foundation and a Lupus support group. She will miss her dear friends. She was a resident of Colorado Springs since February 1965. Died at Pikes Peak Care Center in Colorado Springs, where she was a resident since June 2009. The family expresses sincere thanks to all of the personnel at P.P.C.C. for their loving care, especially RN's Betty Jo, Jean, Angela and also 200 Hall CNA's. Her body was cremated at her request.
