Pam Phelps Obituary

Pam Phelps, 77, passed away with her family by her side. She was loved by her family and friends. She was born in Omaha, NE to Henry I. Smith and Alice Charlene Auracher. On July 29, 1985 she married her husband, James F. Phelps, Jr.; they celebrated 27 years of marriage. Pamela was a wonderful and loving mother and homemaker. She was a true friend to those who were to meet her. She had a big heart for the "four-legged" creatures. She was a active parishioner at St. George's Anglican Church. Pamela is survived by her husband, James, of Colorado Springs; and their four children, daughter, Vicky (Sal) D'Ascoli; son, Jordan (Judy); step-son, Douglas (Donna) Phelps; step-son, Ron (Karen) Phelps. She is also survived by loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. It would only be right to say that Pamela is also survived by the congregation of St. George's Anglican Church and specifically the collating group; after all, they are family, too. Pamela was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Sharon Bloto and her parents. A service will be on Friday, May 4 at 11:00 am at St. George's Anglican Church, 214 E. Pikes Peak. Memorial contributions may be made to the No Kill Animal Shelters or to St. George's Anglican Church.
