Born in Bentonville Arkansas to Madge and Russell George. Moved from Wichita, KS in 1950 to Colorado Springs. Attended Ivywild, South Jr and Palmer High School.
He served in the Navy. He was also a member of The Cam Winders Car Club.
Survived by wife, Mary; Son Rusty (Lorrie); and Daughter April (Tim) Shaw. Sister Bertha (Bert) George. 5 Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Brother Merlyn Plumlee and Mother Madge Plumlee.
He spent his last years in Joplin, MO. He owned a Rod and Reel Shop. Loved to fish!
