Ronald B Fox
October 11, 1945 - May 8, 2018
Ronald B. Fox, 72, of Colorado Springs, passed away May 8, 2018. He was born in Washburn, Maine on October 11, 1945. Ron Fox graduated from Washburn High. He was married to Janice Fox on August 26, 1967.
Ron Fox worked as a truck driver and owned Security Widefield Rental. He had a passion for woodworking, fishing, camping, and his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Fox, his daughter, Wendy Fox, granddaughter, Leslie Dodge, brother, Jeffrey Fox, and sister, Jill Fox. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Fox.
A visitation will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 10am, with a funeral service to follow at 11am, at Dove Witt Family Mortuary.
Ron was raised on a farm, where he learned a respect for life and was taught responsibility. He felt that chores prepared you for life. He had a strong sense of community. For many years he was a volunteer fireman and served two terms as the Beckett, MA Selectman. He was a truck driver for thirty-five years, and prided himself on a perfect driving record, with no accidents or tickets. He was a small business owner, which brought him to Colorado. In his retirement years, he developed a great passion and extreme talent for woodworking. He enjoyed fishing and morning coffee with "The Guys." He will be dearly missed by all.
