Harold "Mac" Eugene McKinley died at home in Security on November 20, 2012. He was born in Creighton, Missouri on May 9, 1925 to Clell and Lena (McVicker) McKinley. He served in the US Army during the end of WWII. He worked 35 years as a machinist for AMI and Ampex, retiring January 1989. On August 5, 1955 he married his wife of 57 years, Janie Stoll who survives. They moved to Security that year raising five children together. Vicki (Randy) Schulz of Pueblo, Steven McKinley of Colorado Springs, Cheryl (Randy) Stillwell of Pueblo West, Paul McKinley (deceased) and Kari McKinley of Security. Mac was a volunteer fireman at the Security Fire Department for 20 years; May 1958 - May 1978. Mac was preceded in death by his parents and step mother; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, four children, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Eva MacKendrick of Delta. Memorial services are at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance. Reception follows at the Security Fire Department on Security Boulevard.
