Norman PURKIS Obituary

Norman Purkis passed away peacefully on Friday May 5, 2023, at Errinrung Retirement Residence in Thornbury in his 84th year. Norman, beloved husband of Pauline Purkis of Wasaga Beach. Dear father of Simon, Mark, and Jennifer. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Katrina, Emily, Austin, Trevor, and great-grandfather of Serina, Alex, and Amelia. Survived also by his brother Joe and sister Jane. Predeceased by brothers Jim and Clive and parents Clive and Isabella Purkis. At Norman's request, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Alzheimer's Society of Greater Simcoe County in Mr. Purkis's memory.
