Elizabeth Farrington Obituary

Elizabeth Georgina Farrington, 81, of Victoria British Columbia passed away peacefully on the evening of December 6th, 2020.

Elizabeth was born on June 13, 1939 to Mary and Gerald Breau in Moncton, New Brunswick. She met her former husband, Denis Farrington at the age of 18 and went on to have three beautiful children, Stephanie Farrington Borns, Denis Jr., and Sandra Lichtenwald

Throughout Elizabeth's life her first priority was always to take care of her family. She selflessly put her family first and was the most giving, caring and loving grandmother to her three grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing, watching "Coronation Street", cooking, and spending time with her best friend Gabe Marte. Before Elizabeth lost her sight due to macular degeneration she loved to draw.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Gerald Breau, her former husband, Denis Farrington, her infant son Denis Jr., her sister Mary Homuth, and her brother Mark Breau.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Farrington Borns, and Sandra Lichtenwald, her sister Dorothy Breau, brothers, William and Thomas Breau, and her grandchildren Honor Lichtenwald, Adrian Lichtenwald, and Isabella Yarrow, along with many nieces and nephews.

All of us that were close to Elizabeth feel blessed to have been loved by her, our hearts are broken from her loss, we will always cherish our fond memories of her, and the great impact she had on our lives. Elizabeth will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

The family of Elizabeth has requested donations be made to CNIB Foundation in lieu of flowers.
