Lily McCutchen, 86 years, passed away on November 23, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 53 years. Lily was born and raised in London, England and moved to the United States in 1953 at the age of 22. She married her husband, CMSgt (ret) Ralph McCutchen, on January 6, 1954 in Everett, Washington.
Lily was fond of cooking, playing cards with friends, and most importantly, being a loving and supportive mother and grandmother. With her husband, Ralph, she was a lifelong member of The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA), which she volunteered routinely in support of the organization and the community of Colorado Springs.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Karren; her grandchildren: Chris, Joey, and Nathan; and her great-grandchildren: Elise, Hailey, and Nia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph.
The family has chosen to hold a private ceremony; however, memorials in Lily's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, and/or the American Lung Association.
