WILLARD ALAN SMALL
April 03, 1954
November 30, 2018
On November 30, 2018, I, Willard Alan Small, passed onto the "next big thing".
After being born in Denver, CO in 1954, I lived in Colorado Springs from 1964 to 1972, when I graduated from Mitchell High School. After graduating I moved to Hanover, New Hampshire, where I worked in the film department of Dartmouth college. I moved back to Colorado Springs in 1980, at which time I started working at the Pikes Peak Center, where I worked until 2004. I taught at Wasson High School from 2004 to 2007 and then freelanced until 2014.
During those 30 years from 1980-2010 I was able to participate in the visual and performing arts community in Colorado Springs to a very immersive degree. My thanks to everyone who I was able to work with, it was truly a pleasure to spend time with all of you.
I would like to mention my one great contribution to humanity, my daughter Shea M. Small, born in 1997.
We now depend on younger generations to carry the torch, good-luck, and try not to get hurt.
Love to you all,
Willard A. Small

life is like a stream... we step into the water, but before we can capture that moment it rushes past us taking that moment with it. I'm grateful for the slivers of time in my life, when our worlds intersected..love you my friend..peaceful journey
