A dear friend and homeboy, Bill played an instrumental role in my success in the United States Air Force. Sad to say we didn't get the opportunity to hang out when he returned to Alabama, but glad we shared memories during my visits to Colorado Springs. I miss Bill and will always cherish our memories. Rest in peace B!
Carmen, please give me a call at 334.467.7464. Thanks!

Playing the Hand You're Dealt - A Word to All the Players
I've been playing a lot of cards with the fam lately. Three-man Spades with the girls and when we ALL get together we'll play a raucous game of Bid Whist. Sometimes you get those hands where you know you're gonna run a Boston. It doesn't matter what's in the kitty. Sometimes your mess is so good you can throw the kitty away or have to throw away winners because you have so many winners in your hand. Other times the kitty messes you up. Sometimes you bid and never should have. Sometimes you make something out of nothing. No matter the circumstances, you have to play with the hand you're dealt. Just make sure that when you get up from the table, whether you made your bid, got set, helped your partner, ran that Boston, or just followed suit you know you did your best with what you had to work with. No "dang, I should have played this", or "I should not have bid", or "I should never have gotten in the game at all." Because once the cards board the table, that's it and that's all. You can't pick them back up (that will get you cut playing with certain people). In this card game called life, play your hand as best you can with the cards you're dealt. Then get up from the table with no regrets. But while you're at the table, follow suit, count cards, bid wisely, and try not to get set. And don't sit at the table with a card shark without bringing your own multiple rows of teeth.

Wow, I have so many memories over the 30+ years we've been friends. You could definitely throw down on some BBQ and were always willing to be there for your friends when they needed your mad skills. May you rest in peace B.
