ANN MARIE MOUSEL COLLIER, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, at the age of 70. Born January 29, 1955, in Brawley, California, Ann was the cherished daughter of Virginia Joan Maenner and John Francis Mousel. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force, achieving the distinguished rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT). Her service reflected her deep sense of duty, strength, and patriotism.
Ann married the love of her life, Michael Collier, in January 1982. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. In 2005, they relocated to Las Cruces, where Ann embraced the beauty of the Southwest and continued to pursue her passion, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and creating a warm and welcoming home for her family.
She was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy came from nurturing those around her. Her legacy lives on through her three children: David Collier (Jessica) of Lompoc, CA; Jason Collier (Janelle) of Piru, CA; and Kathleen Collier of Lompoc, CA. She was a proud and loving grandmother of six and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her grandchildren.
Ann is also survived by her siblings: John, Steve, Tim, and Vince Mousel, and her sister Sharon Mousel-Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents, whose memory she honored throughout her life and an infant brother, Joseph.
