Antonio Yebra Obituary

Visitation for Antonio "Choque" Yebra, 79, of Palatine, will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Prayers will be said on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:30 AM, also at the Funeral Home and process to Mision San Juan Diego Church, 2323 N. Wilke Road, Arlington Heights, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Antonio was born on February 7, 1945, in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Antonio and Josefa Yebra. He passed away at home on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
Choque, a hard-working family man, will be remembered for being a caring, supporting, humorous, and the foundation of the family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and great-grandfather and best friend to his dog, Gunner. He will be deeply missed.
Antonio was the beloved husband of the late Maria Cantu; loving father of Patricia A. (Manuel) Mercado and Maria A. Hernandez; cherished grandfather of Alex T. Morales, John F. Morales, Mayra Mercado, Erick Mercado, Julissa Mercado, Maria Montoya, Jessica Montoya, Erica Hernandez, Crystal Hernandez and Priscilla Hernandez; dear great-grandfather of Giselle, Avigail, Hector, Dario, Liam, Alina, Nayeli, and Joel. Additionally, he is survived by 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Amalia Yebra, Maria De La Rosa, Jose (Dora) Yebra, Luis (Angela) Yebra, Adolfo (Gloria) Hernandez, Martin Hernandez, Juan J. (Maria) Hernandez, Reina (Ruben) Quintanilla, and David Guzman.
