In a large family, you're sometimes fortunate to have incredible people like Aunt Carol and Uncle Sam. As a child, I eagerly anticipated Christmas at their home, where our families would gather, and cousins would play and reconnect. Their house was alive with laughter, storytelling, and vibrant Christmas decorations. Uncle Sam's winter village display was a highlight, with everyone excited to see his latest additions. Aunt Carol would mingle with her radiant, contagious smile, her love for us all palpable. Uncle Sam would be full of laughter, and I fondly recall us kids pretending to be grown-ups, requesting virgin daiquiris or piña coladas he’d make for us. This was a family filled with immense love and respect. I deeply miss their voices, smiles, and, most of all, their warm hugs.

I never had the chance to meet her, but Cathy has told me beautiful stories! May you rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

She was my favorite Aunt and had a beautiful soul and she will be deeply missed. She was so sweet to me while growing up and I always admired the love she had for all of her family.

Sam and Carol always had the best Christmas Eve get together with the family and they were so nice to include us. Good memories
