Carol Tyvoll Obituary

Janesville - Carol L. (Russell) Tyvoll, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, surrounded by family at Azura Memory Care in Clinton, WI. She was born on March 12, 1943 in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Clifford and Maidie (Johnson) Tyvol. She attended High School in Appleton and completed her CNA degree at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville. She also took classes in Appleton for counseling children. Carol was a member at Cargill United Methodist Church.

She was an avid coffee drinker, enjoyed reading and watching TV in her later years. Carol enjoyed playing games and trips to the casino. Most of all she loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.

Carol is survived by her five children: Scott (Anne) Russell, Mark (Tina) Russell, LeAnn (Scott) Bumgarner, Lisa (Brett) Zimmermann, Brian (Tina) Hake; 7 grandchildren: Brandon, Brockton, Matthew, Hannah, Zackary, Braden and Karlie; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Chuck (Mary) and Tom (Louise) Tyvol and many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Russell and siblings, Lois Krause and Loretta Hersant.
