Charles Parker Obituary

Douglas Parker, 83, of Daleville MS passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his home in the Blackwater Community.

Services will be held at Blackwater Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Robinson officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 with the service following at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Parker loved being outdoors and could be found most days riding his four-wheeler, hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his tractor or just sitting on his porch watching wildlife. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved telling stories. He was a man who could repair, build, or weld most anything and helped so many of his neighbors, family, and friends using his skills.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pauline McDaniel Parker, Daleville, MS; daughters - Lisa (CJ) Goodman of Daleville, MS, Debra (Brandon) Pannell of Columbus, MS; sons - Kevin (Jennifer) Parker of Moselle, MS, Jason (Lilah) Parker of Collinsville, MS; grandchildren - Cody (Kynsleigh) Goodman, Cory Goodman, Amber Rogers, Kimberly (Hector) Vilchez-Garcia, Andrew Rogers, Maggie Parker, Sarah Parker, Jacob Parker, Cade Hudson, Mallie Hudson, and Mabrey Parker; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Linton of Columbus, MS; brother, Malcolm (Judy) Parker of Decatur, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruby Parker; two sisters, Martha McArthur and Jenelle Russell.
