Chris I am going to miss you tremendously. You were my best friend who looked out for me whenever I needed you day or night no matter what. You were that friend indeed when I was in need. I thank God that our paths crossed. You are not here to see me ring the bell, but it's ok, you will be looking down on me smiling. I will miss you, but God needed you more. I can't hear you say Carin, you and those dam $3 is that all you have. I will carry those $3 in memory of you which was our inside joke. Sleep easy and fly high my friend. I thank God there is no more suffering.

Chris, aka "RockDaddy", you were always there for me. You are my best friend and confidant. You helped me in times when I couldn't even help myself and no one else would. You gave so much of yourself even when you didn't have anything left. You were always honest and pure and upfront in every piece of advice I've ever asked for, even if it did hurt my feelings (lol). I am going to miss you drastically on this earth. Through the rest of whatever this thing is called 'life' I know, you know, I wouldn't make it without you in it. Therefore; I know you will always be in my heart and a part of my soul and will be advising me from heaven. I'll be listening for your voice through the wind and the rain and the sun. I know you would never leave me alone. See you at the crossroads...

WHEN I'M CALLED HOME

Lord, as long as I have breath, I will praise you. I will praise you with all my soul, my life,and with all my heart I will sing praises unto your holy name.
My hope is in you, not in the strength of earthly things that fail. No matter how dark and dire things may get, I will put my confidence in you, not in people of high places, nor any mortal. Only you Lord can take me safely home.
When my earthly life is over, my plans matter no more, but precious life with you remains.

For my cousin Danielle and Delvy, Chris is now resting with the Lord. One day you will see him again when we meet Jesus in the air. What a glorious day that will be! Love you both.
