Dale E. Henderson, 89, of Florida, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. Born on April 8, 1936, in Lancaster, PA, He was the son of George and Mary Henderson. A graduate of McCaskey High School in Lancaster, class of 1954, Dale was a champion swimmer during his high school years.
Following graduation, he served his country with honor in the United States Navy for four years. After his service, Dale pursued a career in education, dedicating many years to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District.
Dale was a man of many interests and passions. A member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners, he valued fellowship and service. He was also active in the Hellertown American Legion. He and his wife shared a love for square dancing and round dancing, enjoying countless evenings together on the dance floor.
In retirement, Dale and his wife spent many years traveling before settling in Florida. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing, a hobby he pursued with great skill and joy, often using rods he crafted himself.
Dale will be remembered for his warmth, integrity, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication to family, community, and service.

There are so many wonderful memories I have of Dale and our many many times together. Rich and I loved playing cards with he and Sue, laughing and joking about everything. He was a one of a kind friend, always there to offer a helping hand. I will miss the twinkle in his eye and the smile on his face.
