I am saddened to hear about the transition of my sister in Christ, Ms. Taylor. She worked with me for years as a volunteer with the Asbury UMC, Washington, DC Food Pantry Ministry. Each month I could count her to to help distribute bags of groceries to needy families and each year I could count on her to go the extra mile to help with assembling Thanksgiving Bags for our beloved community.

I was saddened when she moved away to Southern, Maryland- and grateful when she reached out to me and gave me her new address and contact information.

We shared cards and talked about her new residents, and new community. I was happy to learn that she continued to connect with Asbury by attending church on line, and periodically touching base with other Asburyans.

Ms. Taylor was a quite spirited earthly angel, who lived a life deserving of her own pair of heavenly wings. May she be granted them. To God be the glory.
In loving memory, Jackie Richardson (Cardell
