Etta Laeuna McCaleb Obituary

Etta Laeuna McCaleb, age 82 passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Services will be Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fayette City Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert Duckworth and Jewel Gilpin Duckworth; husband, Leroy McCaleb; brothers, Leon Duckworth, Donald Duckworth and Dewayne Duckworth; and sister, Brenda Sullivan (Billy Carl).

She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Long (Tommy); sons, Mike McCaleb (Joy), Greg McCaleb (Ashley) and Darryl McCaleb (Angie); grandchildren, Brittany James (Brandon), Lindsay Madi (Adam), Lauren Cash (Stephen), DeAnn Taylor (Jeff), Josh McCaleb (Sheri), Derek McCaleb (Lacey), Peyton Cole (Derek), Brook McCaleb, Presley McCaleb, Jackson Doran, Daniel Doran, Kayla McCaleb (Torrance Hannah), Brenton McCaleb (Hayley), and Tyler McCaleb; 25 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kat Sprinkle, Doris Johnson, Willie Mae Taylor (Gary), Edna McCullough, Angie Rainey (Womack), Jennette Hester, Annette Moore (Dennis), Linda Jordan, and Ronald Duckworth.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tyler, Brenton, Josh, Austin, Colton, Jackson, Daniel and Derek.

Honorary pallbearers are Fayette Medical Center Home Care and hospice care, and Dr. Martha Christian.
