Hazel was a very special person. I am so glad that she lived many years at Maple Crest. I loved having conversations with her. She had a kind and giving heart. She and Joanne Niswander loved the Monarch butterfly season for many years and it brought a lot of joy to them, and also the residents, families, staff, guests and community.
She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her. She was a joy to me, for all the years that I worked at Maple Crest and since then.

So sorry to learn that Hazel passed away, but joy that she ascended to heaven to be reunited with Doc. We got to know her as a wonderful neighbor when they built their home on Hays Ave. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Our prayers are with her family.
