Janis Lusby, 87, of Camden, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 9, 2025. She was born on July 19, 1937, to the late O. C. and Ruby Bradford. She was a 1955 graduate of Fairview High School where she was a majorette, Junior class beauty, and honored to be selected as a homecoming maid.
Janis worked as an HR secretary and payroll clerk during her career at International Paper Company. She and her beloved late husband "Bubba" served at Cullendale First Baptist Church as teaching in the children's department for many years.
Janis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Granvel (Bubba) Lusby; her son, Bradford Lee Lusby; sisters, JoAnn Bradford Looney and Johnette Bradford Travis, and nephew Jeff Looney.
Janis is survived by her nephew Don Travis (Robin) of Lawson, AR, nieces Jessica (Paul) Beard of Malvern, AR; Debbie Nutt of Camden, AR, DeAnna (Johnny) Sanders of Duncan, OK; cousins Laura (Kyle) Winning and Kory Winning of Little Rock, AR; and many other beloved family members and friends.
There will be a graveside service at Mt. Horeb Cemetery on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. with Wade Totty and Don Travis officiating. Memorials may be made to Cullendale First Baptist Church Children's Department. Proctor Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to The Springs for the care and compassion shown to Janis and her loved ones.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

Aunt Jan and Uncle Bubba were both always welcoming on Thanksgiving, opening up their home to all of their extended family. So many people from those yearly gatherings from when I was a kid are now gone, and I know they are all missed.
