Loretta Ridgeway Obituary

Loretta Marie Ridgeway, age 75, of Berkeley Springs, WV died on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

            Born March 4, 1944 in Falling Rock, WV she was the daughter of the late Harry Maurice and Eva Marie Wolford Richman.

She was a Methodist. She had worked for Cacapon State Park as a waitress. She enjoyed crocheting, Bible Study, Drawing, playing the piano and puzzles.  

 She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ann Barton of Winchester, VA and Vicky Marie Unger of Berkeley Springs, WV, one son, Joseph Matthew Unger, Jr., two sisters, Louise Ella Nicholson of Slanesville, WV and Alicia Lynn Repine of Capon Bridge, WV, one brother, Harry Maurice “Sonny” Richman, Jr. of Capon Bridge, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in by her husband Arthur Ridgeway and one sister, Loraine Ester Smoot.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Central United Methodist Church 44 Timber Mountain Road, Loom, WV with Pastor Alanna McGuinn officiating. Burial will be private.
