Joyce Anderson Obituary

Joyce Marie Anderson, 77, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2025. Joyce was born on July 4th, 1947 in Parsons, Kansas to Melvin Clarence and Juanita Lucille (Conley) Anderson.

Joyce attended school in St. Joseph, Missouri, graduating in the 1965 class of Central High School. She spent her career working as a travel agent for the AAA Travel Agency, until she retired. Joyce was known for her adventurous personality, and always forward thinking.

Joyce was preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by many friends, cherished caretakers, and her classmates from the Central High class of 1965.

Services for Joyce will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph, Missouri, officiated by Celebrant David Mejia. A visitation will take place the same day one hour prior (1:00-2:00 PM) to the service. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.

In lieu of floral arrangements - Memorial Donations are suggested to be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.

The funeral service will be available for livestreaming or recorded viewing.
