June Evelyn Swift age 72 of Tiptonville, TN. died Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General North Hospital in Jackson, TN. Arrangements are entrusted with McCreight Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, 11:00a.m.-11:55a.m. Funeral service will follow at 12: noon with Pastor Stanley Montgomery officiating. Survivors include her children; Kishanna Hawthrone, Melanie Nelson of Antioch, TN. Son, John Swift, of Brentwood, TN., A close friend Johnny Nelson, of Tiptonville, TN. Mother Bernice Swift of Ridgely, TN., Sister, Regina Clark, Michigan, Brothers, Tyrone (Jennifer) Swift, of Ridgely, TN., Lenoard (Carolyn) Swift, of Tiptonville, TN., James Clark, of Michigan. (3) Grandchildren, (1) Great-Grandchild. Miss June was a funny person, could make you laugh in her own way. My mother and her use to ride together on the transportation bus for dialysis. They both would cut up together. That's what I'll remember about her. God bless her memory and give the family strength and comfort during this time of bereavement.

This absolutely broke my heart. I was the driver that picked Mrs June up yesterday to take her to her appointment. When I arrived back to pick her up I got the news. I didn’t even know her personally but this shattered my heart. We laughed and talked the whole way to her appointment. She was treated with the upmost respect and care while transporting her.
