My family worshipped with Laverne and her family when I was in middle school. My parents, Hirse and Virginia Graham, were longtime friends of Laverne. She was a beautiful Christian lady who was always a joy to be around.

Having spent countless hours in the Luig household growing up, I am blessed with a bevy of wonderful memories of Laverne. Most notably, her home-cooking, our spirited game nights gathered around her kitchen table and her unforgettable laughter and smile.
There is a void in Archer City tonight that can never be filled.
