Lillian Malinowski Obituary

Hobe Sound - Lillian Malinowski, 79, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on November 6, 2025. Born in Detroit, MI, she had been a resident of Hobe Sound, FL for 26 years.

Prior to retirement, she had a distinguished career in Information Technology for General Motors (GM), Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and Hewlett Packard.

Always the sociable host, Lill knew how to throw a good party. She kept everyone's drink topped off and bellies full. Everyone was welcome in her

home. Her green thumb created gardens that were a treat for the eye, bursting with color. For almost 20 years, she was editor of the bi-monthly

newsletter for The Retreat at Seabranch Homeowners Association, ensuring the whole neighborhood knew of ways they could get involved and meet new people. When her long-time spouse, Wally, was diagnosed with cancer, Lill threw herself into fundraising efforts to find a cure with 'Relay For Life.' As with everything she put her mind to, Lill's diligent work and organized nature led to incredibly successful results.

Lill was a loyal friend to many and is survived by her husband Wallace J. Malinowski, twin daughters Jennifer Wiedemann and Jody DeMeyere, brother Gene Pawlak, sister Julie Pawelak, and grandkids Landon and Avery Wiedemann.

For those who wish to contribute in Lill's honor, she chose the Alzheimer's Association, The American Cancer Society, or The Salvation Army.
