BROADALBIN, NY- Linda Mary Meuse, age 79, of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, on July 2, 1946, and was the daughter of the late George and Adele Bart. Linda was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Meuse III, to whom she was married for 57 years. She was also predeceased by her late brother George. Linda is survived by her sister, Barbara. Linda was a 2-time breast cancer survivor.
Linda was the devoted mother of four sons: Joseph Meuse, Eric Meuse, Mark Meuse, and Brendan Meuse. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to twelve grandchildren. Together with her husband, they built a warm and welcoming home, raising four sons and creating a family legacy grounded in love, laughter, and strong values. For the past 20 years, Linda resided on Sacandaga Lake in Broadalbin, NY, a place she dearly loved and where she welcomed family and friends with open arms.
After her children were grown, Linda embraced a spirit of adventure and became an extensive traveler. She visited 42 countries and lived abroad for extended periods in Saudi Arabia, Wales, and Taiwan. Her global perspective, independence, and curiosity enriched her life and deeply inspired those around her. Linda will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and quiet strength. Whether hosting family dinners or sharing stories from her travels, Linda made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She also volunteered with her husband at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Linda held on to the simple joys in life—especially her love of lobster, which she enjoyed frequently, right up until her passing. Even up to her last days she was quick with a smile and to crack a joke.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Saratoga Hospital for their kind, sympathetic and professional care.
