Elizabeth B. Miller
Cheshire - Elizabeth B. Miller, 90, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Miller.
Mrs. Miller was born November 9, 1934, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Karl and Gisela (Baumann) Bayer. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, and following her graduation, she worked as a Travel Agent for Waterbury Travel Agency. A longtime Cheshire resident, she was a communicant of St. Bridget of Sweden Parish. Liz enjoyed traveling to Aruba and Las Vegas, going to the casino, a well-made martini, and a good meal with family and friends. She was the family cheerleader and held a special place in her heart for all animals, but especially her cats.
She is survived by her niece Carla Hannon and her husband Daniel and their children Megan and Ryan; her nephew Andrew Vernale Jr. and his wife Celeste and their children Alexanderia and Brandon Peterson; as well as several cousins. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Theresia Vernale.
Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St. Friends are asked to meet directly at church, and there are no calling hours. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery.
